"The 7th Azerbaijani-Russian Interregional Forum plays a crucial role in developing bilateral relations between the two countries," chief of the Russian Presidential Directorate for Interregional Relations and Cultural Contacts with Foreign Countries Vladimir Chernov has told journalists.

He noted that the forum featured discussions on topical issues as well as new proposals on the expansion of Azerbaijan-Russia ties.

"The better we know each other the wider opportunities this opens for a deeper bilateral cooperation." Chernov hailed the importance of the documents which were signed at the forum.
