Azerbaijan, Africa Union discuss cooperation prospects

Azerbaijan`s Permanent Representative to the African Union (AU) Elman Abdullayev has met AU Commissioner for Social Affairs Mustapha Sidiki Kaloko to discuss prospects for cooperation between the country and the union.
They particularly discussed opportunities for collaboration in social and sports areas, and also in the field of gender equality.
Commissioner Kaloko said Africa places a particular emphasis on cooperation in these spheres, and noted the importance of deepening experience exchange with Azerbaijan and increasing the number of high-level reciprocal visits.
Abdullayev highlighted the inaugural European Games to be held in Baku from June 12-28.
