AZERBAIJAN AMBASSADOR TO UZBEKISTAN MEETS TURKISH AND OSCE AMBASSADORS TO THIS COUNTRY
Aydin Azimbayov presented to the Turkish Ambassador the text of statement of protest adopted by the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic in relation to recognition of the notorious “Armenian genocide” by the Swiss Federal Assembly, and announced that Azerbaijani Embassy had sent the text of the statement to the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Supreme Majlis of the country and all the foreign Embassies and permanent representations in Uzbekistan.

Ambassador Aydin Azimbayov met on the same day with head of OSCE office in Uzbekistan Ahmad Erozan and informed the latter on the issues mentioned above.
Mr. Erozan noted that he had been engaged in Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh while working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, and that he considered it absolutely impossible to reestablish any kind of relationship with Armenia.
During the meeting Aydin Azimbayov presented to the OSCE Ambassador Russian, English and French versions of the statement of protest adopted by the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic in relation to recognition of the notorious “Armenian genocide” by the Swiss Federal Assembly
