Azerbaijan International Development Agency and International Blind Sports Federation sign MoU

Yalchin Rafiyev, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Ilgar Rahimov, President of the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA).
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for cooperation between the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA) and IBSA, the implementation of joint initiatives within the framework of international development cooperation, support for sports development programs for blind and visually impaired persons, and opportunities to expand international partnerships.
Yalchin Rafiyev noted that AIDA implements multifaceted projects aimed at strengthening institutional capacity, developing human capital, and promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise in partner countries. He emphasized that initiatives to expand opportunities for blind and visually impaired persons in sports are fully aligned with AIDA’s international development cooperation priorities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, AIDA and IBSA signed a Memorandum of Understanding on international development cooperation.
