Azerbaijan, Pakistan explore interparliamentary cooperation

On January 15, Kamaladdin Gafarov, head of the Working Group for Azerbaijani-Pakistani Interparliamentary Relations, met via videoconference with Syed Raza Ali Gillani, head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Azerbaijan in the National Assembly of Pakistan.
Kamaladdin Gafarov highlighted the rapidly developing relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, noting that President Ilham Aliyev attaches special importance to strengthening strategic ties with Pakistan. He emphasized that both countries enjoy fruitful collaboration in politics, the economy, and public services, citing the launch of the ASAN Khidmet Center in Pakistan as a key example of successful cooperation.
Syed Raza Ali Gillani underscored the crucial role of interparliamentary relations in advancing bilateral ties.
During the meeting, attended by delegations from both countries, the officials discussed the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijani-Pakistani relations.
