Azerbaijan signed agreements with 41 countries covering various areas in 2025, thus expanding its diplomatic geography. Additionally, Azerbaijan opened its embassies and diplomatic missions in several countries, said Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as he addressed the press conference on the outcomes of 2025.
According to him, Azerbaijan’s relations with China and Vietnam have been elevated to a qualitatively new level, while the country maintained the existing relations of traditional friendship and strategic partnership with Pakistan, also enhancing its political and diplomatic contacts in the Middle East.
The Minister added that Azerbaijan had expressed its principal and balanced position regarding the Israel-Palestine conflict. He also highlighted the positive advancements in the Azerbaijan-U.S. relations amid resumption of the mutual dialogue between the two countries.
