Azerbaijan, Ukraine discuss interparliamentary ties

Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met a delegation of working group of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on interparliamentary relations with Azerbaijan.
Minister Mammadyarov stressed the importance of interparliamentary relations, and noted that this visit would contribute to developing bonds between two countries. Stressing the close partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, the FM hailed the cooperation and mutual support of both countries within international organizations.
Head of the interparliamentary relations working group at the Verkhovna Rada Roman Nasirov said they attach importance to developing ties with Azerbaijan. He added that the delegation have had very productive meetings as part of the visit. He also noted their interest in having exchange of experience on various fields with Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the sides also discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in the fields of agriculture, industry, culture and sports, and noted the significance of joint inter-governmental commission.
