Azerbaijani ambassador attends inauguration ceremony of re-elected President of Congo

Sultan Hajiyev, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Kenya with residence in Nairobi, attended participated in the swearing-in ceremony of the country’s re-elected President Denis Sassou-Nguesso in the capital Brazzaville.
The event brought together more than 10 heads of state and government of Africa, as well as representatives from many world leaders.
Ambassador Sultan Hajiyev conveyed the congratulations and sincere greetings of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan to President Denis Sassou-Nguesso. He expressed his confidence in the further development of cooperation between the two countries.
The President of the Congo asked to convey his deep respect and best wishes to President Ilham Aliyev. He thanked the ambassador for representing the Government of Azerbaijan at the ceremony, emphasizing the importance of further strengthening the existing cooperation between Congo and Azerbaijan.
