Azerbaijani delegation responds to Armenian FM`s statement at UNESCO General Conference

The Azerbaijani delegation has given a due response to a statement by the Armenian FM at the 39th session of UNESCO General Conference in Paris.
The statement by the Azerbaijani delegation underlines that despite the four UN Security Council resolutions on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, 20 per cent of internationally recognized Azerbaijani territory is still under the Armenian occupation. “The conflict left more than one million Azerbaijanis as refugees and IDPs.” It also says that while the international community combats discrimination, Nazism, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and xenophobia, Armenia makes official statements about ethnic incompatibility of Azerbaijanis and Armenians, and erects monuments to Nazi Nzhdeh and members of ASALA terrorist organization.
