Azerbaijani deputy PM meets with his Uzbek counterpart

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev has met with Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade, Co-Chairman of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev.
During the meeting, the sides noted that the relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are built on friendship and common moral values, and pointed out that the two countries cooperate successfully in various fields.
The sides hailed the high level political dialogue and close contacts between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. In this regard, they highlighted the importance of the state visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the Republic of Uzbekistan in June of this year.
The sides also discussed prospects for cooperation between the two countries in various areas.
