Azerbaijani Diaspora protests against Ashot Ghulyan`s US visit as representative of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenian community
Baku, September 9 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Diaspora has protested against Ashot Ghulyan`s visit to the US as a representative of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenian community.
The letter sent to US Congress by Diaspora says Ashot Ghulyan represents a criminal regime that occupied the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Azerbaijan. Over a million Azerbaijanis suffered ethnic cleansing as a result of aggression of Armenia, which created and defends this regime. Khojaly massacre was committed in 1992.
The official position of the US administration, the standpoint of international organizations, NGOs and scientists states that Nagorno-Karabakh was occupied by Armenia through the criminal regime represented by Ghulyan, says the letter.
This protest should be supported by anyone who cherish family and moral values and who oppose ethnic purge and war crimes.
