Azerbaijan’s YAP delegation concludes visit to China

As part of its visit to China, a delegation of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), led by Tahir Budagov, YAP Deputy Chairman and Head of the Central Office, met with Zhao Yide, Secretary of the Communist Party of China Shaanxi Provincial Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Congress.
The sides noted that multifaceted cooperation based on mutual trust is a priority in the foreign policy of Azerbaijan and China, adding that the relations between the two countries elevated to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership, offering broad prospects.
They also underlined that cooperation between the parties is one of the important directions of Azerbaijan-China relations, stating that the memorandum signed in November 2024 further strengthened inter-party relations, creating new opportunities.
The parties highlighted the importance of the meetings held within the YAP delegation's visit to China in enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
The participants emphasized that the agreement signed between the Academy of Public Administration of Azerbaijan and the Party School of China's CPC Central Committee would contribute to the exchange of experience in the field of personnel training.
The meeting also addressed the sister-city relationship and interregional cooperation between Azerbaijan and China.
The Azerbaijani delegation provided insight into the prospects for the participation of Chinese companies in the reconstruction and restoration efforts in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.
The delegation also visited Shaanxi Zhilaite technology Co., Ltd. - a technology company that produces humanoid robots; China–Europe Railway Logistics Hub; Great Mosque of Xi'an; Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s Mausoleum Site Museum and Terracotta Warriors (Army) Museum.
Tahir Budagov, YAP Deputy Chairman, shared his views on the results of the visit, as well as the current state and prospects of cooperation between countries and parties, in an interview with the Chinese "Shaanxi" TV channel.
