BelTA official media partner of 2nd European Games in Minsk

The Belarusian Telegraph Agency BelTA and the Minsk European Games Organizing Committee (MEGOC) signed an agreement to establish cooperation and award BelTA the status of an official media partner of the upcoming games on 6 February.
The 2nd European Games will be held in Minsk from June 21-30. Within the 2nd European Games, competitions will be held in 15 sports, 8 of which will become qualifying to the Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo. Competitions in Badminton, Boxing and Judo will be held in the European Championships status. 4,000 athletes are expected to arrive to the Belarusian capital to compete in 199 medal events, about 2,000 trainers and attendants representing official delegations from 50 European national Olympic committees.
