‘Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan is developing consistently across all areas’
I am fully confident that Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Pakistan will continue to maintain the bonds of brotherhood. We have witnessed another sincere meeting between our leaders within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which is an excellent example of the unbreakable ties between our peoples and states, Mosharraf Zaidi, Chief Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, told AZERTAC.
Noting that the main similarity between Azerbaijan and Pakistan is the two countries’ commitment to peace, Mosharraf Zaidi said: We have always underscored that the conflicts should be resolved through the negotiating table and diplomacy, and that this approach is one of the key principles of our peoples, as well as our states. Let us recall Azerbaijan’s Patriotic war. For many years, Azerbaijan had seen negotiations as a solution to the issue. However, it did not work out and, thus, Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity and justice on its own. During this war, Pakistan, as a brotherly country, supported Azerbaijan and stood by it. However, our relations are not limited to interstate relations, the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan is developing consistently across all areas.”
