EU INITIATIVE PROMOTES AZERBAIJAN INTEGRATION IN EUROPEAN STRUCTURES
Head of the coordinating bureau of EU technical assistance program to Azerbaijan Asgar Alakbarov gave appraisal to results of TACIS seminar “Expansion and its consequences for EU cooperation with Russia, Moldova, Ukraine and Southern Caucasus countries held in Lvov, AzerTAj correspondent reports.
According to him, EU initiative “Enlarged Europe: new neighbors”, Azerbaijan became participant since June 14, will speed up process of integration of the republic in the European structures.
In the course of TACIS seminar, exchange of views on issues of development of bilateral cooperation in frame of EU initiative was held. The seminar was attended by representatives of European Commission, employees of coordinating bureau of Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and Southern Caucasus countries, as well as expert groups.
