FOREIGN MINISTER OF AZERBAIJAN PAID OFFICIAL VISIT TO TURKEY
On September 11, Foreign minister of Azerbaijan Republic Vilayat Guliyev paid an official visit to Turkey on the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey and Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul. Visiting the mausoleum of founder of the Turkish Republic Mustafa Kamal Ataturk - Anitkabir, Mr. Vilayat Guliyev laid a wreath on the tomb of the great leader. The same day, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister met with the Turkish Prime minister Rejep Tayyib Erdogan. Discussed were issues of the Turkish-Azerbaijani relations, BTC MEP and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzrum gas pipeline projects, the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh and ways of its settlement, other regional and international problems.
Then, foreign minister of Azerbaijan Vilayat Guliyev held a private talk with the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul.
