Former Serbian President highlights successful partnership between Azerbaijan and Serbia
Baku, December 9, AZERTAC
“Every year the Global Baku Forum promotes peace and global dialogue, which is more important than ever,” said Boris Tadić, former President of Serbia and Board Member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC), in an interview with AZERTAC.
According to him, Azerbaijan and Serbia established a strategic partnership many years ago. The former Serbian head of state also expressed pride in working closely with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in this regard.
Tadić outlined two sensitive issues bringing the countries together - namely international law and the matters of Garabagh and Kosovo - which have contributed to better understanding as well as fruitful and strategic cooperation.
Adding that Azerbaijani-Serbian relations are successfully developing today, Boris Tadić noted that he is pleased the current Serbian leadership continues to strengthen these ties.
