Francina Socias: Spain and Azerbaijan share common will to foster relations

“Spain and Azerbaijan share a strong common will to foster bilateral relations. We emphasized the importance of expanding the scope of existing agreements, such as the memorandum of understanding in the fields of tourism and education,” said Francina Armengol Socias, Speaker of the Congress of Deputies of the Kingdom of Spain, at a joint press conference with Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
She noted that both countries act jointly to strengthen interparliamentary relations and have also agreed to cooperate in the development of green energy.
“This is my first visit to Azerbaijan. We should further strengthen our cooperation. Members of parliament from both sides are making significant efforts to enhance interparliamentary ties,” the Speaker emphasized.
