GYMNASTS OF FOUR COUNTRIES TO CLASH BEFORE GAMES
Azerbaijani gymnast Dinara Gimatova is now involved in pre-Olympic training in Greece. Anna Gurbanova trains as a substitute with Dinara. A test competition of Russian, Greek, Azerbaijani and Kazakh gymnasts will take place about August 12.
Pre-Olympic trainings are taking place in Patra located 215 km away from Athens and an hour and half’s journey to the sport palace Galaxy Olympic Hall where rhythmic gymnastic competitions will take place. Patra has a spacious specialized hall where the European championship was held in 2002.
