Iraq keen on development of comprehensive cooperation with Azerbaijan, Trade Minister
Baku, November 10 (AZERTAC). Iraq is interested in development of cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres, Iraqi Minister of Trade Safa Al-Din Muhammad Al-Safi told journalists. He expressed hope that such visits would contribute to boosting “these friendly traditions”.
The Minister noted the purpose of the visit was to sign an agreement with Azerbaijan on economic, cultural, trade, scientific and technical cooperation. “The signing of the agreement will create an opportunity to expand bilateral ties.”
According to the Minister, Iraq and Azerbaijan are bound by ancient friendly and cultural ties. He underlined there were great opportunities to deepen relations between the two countries. “A business forum should be organized to study these opportunities,” he added.
