“Life improvement of handicapped and children, their integration to society” grant project signed
Baku, March 7 (AZERTAC). The “Life improvement of handicapped and children, their integration to society” grant project was today signed at the residence of Shusuke Watanabe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Azerbaijan. The project is financed by the Government of Japan.
The document was signed by Ambassador Shusuke Watanabe and Mrs. Hiroko Yabusaki, the project coordinator of the Japanese “World Vision-Japan” non-governmental organization.
The Ambassador spoke of the close ties between the two countries, stressing necessity of widening of these relations. The key goal of the project, according to Watanabe, is to support integration of the handicapped people to the active society, the diplomat said. The Project will mainly be implemented in the areas where the refugees and IDPs settled.
Azerbaijani officials praised the grant project, noting it will be another symbol of bilateral and friendly relations between the two countries.
Project coordinator Hiroko Yabusaki said the project would promote integration of certain people, including the children and needy people to society, also create environment for their education.
