MEETING IN BAKU EXECUTIVE POWER
Having warmly greeted the guests, Baku mayor told of the long process of Azerbaijani capital’s building, which turned into the modern megapolis. Mr. Abutalibov updated the guests of the construction scales in Baku. Thus, if last year construction costs made up 8,6 billion AZM, which is twice as much as figures of 2001. However, these showings are much more than in 2003. This upturn in economic activity became possible due the successful domestic and foreign policy of President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
President of the World Association of the Russian Press, ITAR-TASS general director Vitaliy Ignatenko, Minister of Moscow Government Alexander Muzikantskiy pointed out to positive changes in Baku.
Baku mayor presented gifts to Vitaliye Ignatenko and Alexander Muzikantskiy, while guests gave him souvenirs and decorated book on Moscow.
