MEETING OF FRONTIER TROOP HEADS IN BAKU HIGHLY APPRAISED
The head of State Frontier Troops of Azerbaijan, Frontier troops commander, Lieutenant General Elchin Guliyev and Frontier troops commander of Hungary Joseph Bedex spoke on successful work of the session, highly appraised cooperation between Azerbaijan, Germany, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Latvia, Lithonia, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey in this field for the last two years.
Having reminded on good results in the field of international relations, these countries’ active participation in the International conference for frontier issues, known as Shiofok conference, the commanders expressed their views on improvement of activities in the field of organized and trans-frontier crime combat and the work to be done in the future.
The role of frontier services in experience exchange, security in different regions, combat against international terrorism and others, importance of strengthening of frontier guard was underlined.
In conclusion, the participants of the conference answered the questions of journalists.
