MILK PROCESSING FACTORY TO BE CONSTRUCTED IN SHAKI REGION
Under the terms of €7,28 mln loan agreement signed between the International Bank of Azerbaijan /IBA/ and Netherlands’s Robobank, Shaki Agro Industry Ltd has started building a milk processing factory in Orta Zerzid village of Shaki region.
The factory is scheduled to come on stream in the first half of 2007. 600 Holstein cow head will be delivered from Holland to the milk processing plant.
Factory will process 15 thousand liters of milk and produce 1500 kg of cheese per day. Over 200 permanent jobs are scheduled to open here.
