The Azerbaijan Food and Packaging Company (AZFPco), ‘Milla’, has announced its support for the Baku Marshals Club (BMC), operating under the auspices of the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe promoter Baku City Circuit (BCC).

BCC’s Head of Operations and BMC director, Chingiz Mehdiyev, BCC’s Head of Commercial, Bulent Ozerdim, AZ Group’s holding Consultant to President, Iman Tabassomi and General Manager of the AZFPco, Philip Wright, came together to agree on the development of a mutual cooperation between all parties during a recent meeting at BCC headquarters.

Speaking at the event, Chingiz Mehdiyev expressed his gratitude for Milla’s support: “We are very thankful to Milla for its support by providing a range of products to the marshalling team that will play such an important role during the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe to be held here in Baku this summer”.

AZ Group’s Consultant to President, Iman Tabassomi, also passed on congratulations on behalf of the holding and stressed that this long-awaited event will be delivered to the highest level: “On behalf of Mr Manuchehr Ahadpur, the holding's President, I want to state that we are proud of this majestuous event which will showcase the world’s class drivers mastering the world's finest race cars. Azerbaijan is dedicated to deliver a unique and exiting ''taste of speed'' experience and without doubt the speed will be higher in the Land of Fire”.

AZFPco General Manager, Philip Wright, also outlined his pride in this new partnership: “This year Baku is hosting one of the great sporting events. At such a historic moment for Azerbaijan, we are very pleased to have an opportunity to support the race marshals”.

Azerbaijan Food and Packaging Company, owned by the AZ Group holding, has been operating since 2011. The company’s ‘Milla’ brand offers consumers high quality dairy products that are produced by local methods.
