New Azerbaijan Party delegation visits Türkiye

A delegation of Azerbaijan, led by Tahir Budagov, Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP), Head of the Central Administration, visited Ankara, Türkiye, at the invitation of Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), to attend an event marking December 15 - World Turkic Language Family Day.
The event, with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in attendance, featured the presentation of the Turkic World Vision Document.
Addressing the event, Kürşad Zorlu, AK Party Deputy Chairman and head of relations with Turkic states, stated that one of the main objectives of the concept is to strengthen relations among Turkic states at all levels and foster a shared future for the Turkic world.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said: “This document, which encapsulates the centuries of knowledge, experience, and aspirations of the Turkic peoples, will serve as an important guide in achieving the goals of the next century.”
He added that the new vision document aims to deepen integration among Turkic states and strengthen multidimensional cooperation within a more robust institutional framework. Economic development, moral and cultural solidarity, strategic cooperation, and regional security are at the core of our vision.
In preparing the document, the President noted that they took into account existing international agreements, bilateral and multilateral collaborations, and regional and global developments. They were guided by the institutional structure of the Organization of Turkic States, the political and economic transformations within the Turkic world, our countries’ foreign policy perspectives, and the national interests at the forefront.
Highlighting the significance of the UNESCO General Conference decision in Samarkand, which designated December 15 as World Turkic Language Family Day, he drew attention to the responsibilities of Turkic states in this regard.
As part of the visit, Tahir Budagov also attended an official banquet hosted in honor of the event participants by Kürşad Zorlu.
