NEW SCHOOLBOOK PRESENTS
In his opening speech, rector of Academy, professor Seyfaddin Gandilov stated that book is envisaged for the students of the Universities on the faculty “ International relations”, “ International law”, “ International journalism”, “ International economic relations” and others.
PhD in political sciences Elchin Ahmadov, UN resident-coordinator Marco Borsotti, Chairmen of the commissions of Milli Majlis and others made speeches.
It was noted that after gaining independence, Azerbaijan, first, made efforts to strength its position within international relations, and the key role in this was played by the nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. His policy was not set aside the international organizations, including UN and highly appreciated.
The book “UN specialized structures” minutely informs on this, as well as the projects implementing in Azerbaijan by some structure.
