Pakistani analyst: Perpetrators of Khojaly tragedy must face justice
Chicago, February 24, AZERTAC
“As far as the Khojaly genocide is concerned, I think that it should be discussed. Because in one night, the massacre of more than 600 people, including children and women, is not a normal human behavior,” Malik Ayub Sumbal, Pakistani geopolitical analyst, told journalists.
According to him, this incident was committed with the purpose of slaughtering and the intention was to kill the people through ethnic cleansing.
“The important is that the perpetrators who committed these crimes against the humanity, they should come and face the justice. Because those people who commit these crimes, and they are not accountable under the law, that would undermine the rule of the law in any country, and in the world. And especially in today's circumstances, that we see that the other genocides that are happening around the world. So in these genocides, with this, there is a connection, and there should be acknowledgement of Khojaly genocide, so that people should know how the Armenian forces, with the help of 366 Regiment, have killed and silenced the people in one night,” the Pakistani expert underlined.
