PARTICIPANTS OF CONGRESS OF RUSSIAN PRESS VISITED MARTYR’S ALLEY
Along with the guests, the ceremony was attended by Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev, Baku Mayor Hajibala Abutalibov, executives of the President’s Administration.
Abulfaz Garayev highly appreciated the role of the Russian press and stressed the significance of the congress in building of the international image of Azerbaijan.
Responding the questions of local and foreign media, ITAR-TASS Director General Vitaliy Ignatenko said: “Congresses of such type help to sustain high professional level of journalists and serve the purpose of preserving the Russian informational field. We are glad that Russian press did not died, although there were such a tendency”
