On the occasion of the World Peace Day announced by the United Nations, a presentation ceremony on the subject “ Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict” with the participation of the Embassies and international organizations representatives accredited in Baku was held in Foreign Affairs Ministry of Azerbaijan, on September 19.
In his speech, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Araz Azimov dwelt on historical roots of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Garabakh , legal aspects, negotiations held on resolution of this conflict up to now.
Then, participants shared their views on some issues related to the subject, including consequences of the conflict, state of refugees and IDPs in Azerbaijan, assistance of international organizations, process of negotiations.
