On the invitation of the head of State frontier service of Azerbaijan, Commander of the frontier troops, General-Lieutenant Elchin Guliyev, Deputy Commander of the US coastguard, admiral Tomas Barrette and his retinue paid an official visit to Azerbaijan.

The guests visited the Alley of Martyrs, revered memory of the brave sons of Azerbaijan, who fell for freedom, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid a wreath on the memorial complex “Eternal Flame”, AzerTAj correspondent was told at the Frontier service.

In the course of visit, Tomas Barrette was received by top-ranking officials, and the sides had exchange of views on the relations between Azerbaijan and US, as well as reinforcement of maritime boundary on the Caspian Sea.
