TECHNICAL INSPECTIONS OF VEHICLES C0MMENCED
Currently the Department "Autonagliiyatservis" of the Ministry of Transport is preparing a site for the organization of these technical inspections.
As Mr Mamedov noted, there was the need for a special control of the technical condition of the vehicles, used in passenger transport. "We cannot risk the health and lives of people, allowing vehicles which are not technically suitable to carry passengers ply the routes," he stressed.
The Minister did not exclude that this step could arouse dissatisfaction from transport owners, however he noted that this decision would be taken and agreed with them. Mr. Mamedov said that the head of the Department had already had initial negotiations on this issue with leading transport companies in the country.
