WFP EXPANDS “FOOD FOR EDUCATION” PROGRAM
UN World Food Program /WFP/ and Azerbaijan Ministry of Education are jointly implementing “Food for Education” program in 98 comprehensive schools in 10 regions of Azerbaijan.
In April, WFP is planning to embark on the perfect monitoring system in these schools to expand “Food for Education” program. Therefore, international adviser and program assistant for Azerbaijan have been appointed with WFP’s funding to hold workshops together with Ministry personnel for representatives of the local government bodies, school superintendents and teachers.
