57th meeting of UNWTO Commission for Europe and Seminar on Developing Effective Tourism Clusters held in Baku
Baku, April 3 (AZERTAC). Baku has today hosted the 57th meeting of the UNWTO Commission for Europe and Seminar on Developing Effective Tourism Clusters.
The event was attended by delegates from 31 countries, and UNWTO officials, experts, and representatives of European tourism agencies.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijani minister of culture and tourism Abulfas Garayev hailed the organization of the 57th meeting and seminar of UNWTO in Baku. He stressed the role of the event in the developing exchange of experience and views, and expanding cooperation between countries.
“These events pave the way for demonstration of Azerbaijan`s tourism potential in Europe. Thanks to such international events Azerbaijan plays an important role in the European tourism environment,” the Minister said.
The agreement on holding the 57th meeting of the UNWTO European Commission in Baku was signed by the Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister and the UNWTO Secretary General at the 56th meeting of the European Commission.
