RECEP TAYYIP ERDOGAN: AZERBAIJAN WILL BECOME A RICH COUNTRY WITHIN THE NEXT DECADE
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Agriculture Ismet Abasov is in Turkey to participate the inauguration of the subregional office of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for Turkey, Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries.
Ismet Abasov met with Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan on the sidelines of the ceremony.
The sides discussed various aspects of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey including the need for expanding ties in the agrarian sphere. Recep Tayyip Erdogan said rapid development of Azerbaijan led by President Ilham Aliyev will make Azerbaijan one of the advanced countries. Fraternal Azerbaijan, according to him, will become the rich country of the world.
Ismet Abasov said Azerbaijan prefers to cooperation with fraternal Turkey in all spheres including agriculture. He pointed out that opening of the FAO subregional office would provide a basis for deepening traditional cooperation between the two fraternal countries.
