ACCESSBANK AND SAVE THE CHILDREN START COOPERATION
Baku, 22 January (AZERTAC). Recently AccessBank and Save the Children international organization signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement targets further cooperation and participation in projects as part of the corporate social responsibility program.
“I was deeply impressed by the Bank’s intentions to contribute to the reduction of risks for children in need in Azerbaijan”, Jeff Giacomini, Save the Children CEO in Azerbaijan said.
Save the Children started its activity in Azerbaijan in December 1993. Initially it was established to help children in need around the world. First established in the United Kingdom in 1919, separate national organizations have been set up in more than twenty-eight countries, sharing the aim of improving the lives of children through education, health care and economic opportunities, as well as emergency aid in cases of natural disasters, war and conflict.
Since 1998 Save the Children is committed to implementing different development programs in partnership with local and foreign non-governmental organizations, commercial structures and Azerbaijani government.
