Mikayil Jabbarov: Azerbaijan–Cambodia bilateral relations yet to reach full potential

“The Azerbaijan–Cambodia Business Forum, held as part of the Cambodian Prime Minister’s official visit, creates opportunities to further strengthen our friendly relations through closer economic cooperation,” said Azerbaijan’s Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov in his remarks at the forum.
Emphasizing that Azerbaijan and Cambodia have maintained diplomatic relations for over 30 years, the minister added: “Our political dialogue has been steady, and I am confident that our economic relations should develop in line with it. Although trade is growing, it does not yet reflect the full potential of our bilateral relations. Our countries have complementary strengths and offer access to broader markets. We view investment as a partnership built on trust, shared benefits and solidarity in difficult times. We encourage our companies to explore new partnerships in Cambodia and build mutual trust. This process began long ago, and we are proud of the political trust and friendship between our leaders”.
