Azerbaijan, Belarus Swimming Federations sign memorandum of cooperation

The Azerbaijan Swimming Federation and the Belarusian Swimming Federation have signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The document is aimed at developing swimming in both countries, expanding bilateral ties, and strengthening the exchange of expertise in the field.
Under the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in developing and promoting swimming, improving the professional qualifications of athletes, coaches, and referees, and organizing joint training camps and competitions. The document also provides for the exchange of methodological materials and expertise, promoting swimming among children and young people, and broadening public participation in the sport.
The cooperation is also expected to involve initiatives to draw on the experience of both federations, improve athletes’ training processes, and expand opportunities for coaching and refereeing personnel to enhance their knowledge and skills.
The memorandum is expected to strengthen cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus in swimming, foster closer ties between their national federations, and expand international sports cooperation.
