Azerbaijan, Germany enhance energy and technology partnership

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Economy Minister Samad Bashirli met with Gerlind Heckmann, Director for promotion and financing of foreign trade and investment; Ukraine – Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
During the meeting, the sides highlighted the significant potential for expanding economic ties between the two countries.
The parties emphasized the importance of diversifying bilateral ties, deepening cooperation and pursuing new joint projects. They discussed energy partnerships, industrial and technological cooperation, coordination of ongoing initiatives, and forthcoming meetings of the Azerbaijan–Germany Business Council and the German–Azerbaijani High-Level Working Group on Trade and Investment.
