Landmine blast injures another person in Jabrayil district

A second landmine incident occurred in the village of Daghmashanli in the liberated Jabrayil district on October 8, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General’s Office, and the Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) said.
According to the statement, Ashraf Elman oghlu Gahramanov, born in 1966, the father of Orkhan Gahramanov, born in 2000, who was previously injured, sustained injuries in an anti-personnel mine explosion while entering the area where the previous mine incident occurred.
The Jabrayil District Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
ANAMA, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Prosecutor General’s Office once again urge citizens to strictly adhere to safety rules, pay attention to mine danger signs, avoid entering unfamiliar or potentially hazardous areas, and refrain from entering areas where fencing operations are underway.

According to the statement, Orkhan Ashraf oglu Gahramanov, a resident of Jabrayil district born in 2000, stepped on an anti-personnel mine while grazing animals in an area that had not been cleared of landmines. As a result, Gahramanov sustained injuries of varying severity.
The Jabrayil District Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
