Azerbaijan Medical University and Turkish Gazi University commemorate Khojaly victims

Ankara, February 24 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijan Medical University and Turkish Gazi University have organized a remembrance event to mark the 20th anniversary of the Khojaly massacre.

The event was held before Ataturk and Youth Monument of Gazi University in Turkey and in the Alley of Martyrs in Baku with the support of Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Turkey.

The commemorative event was broadcast live by Azerbaijan`s Public TV and Turkish TRT Avaz channel.

Rector of Gazi University Riza Ayhan, rector of Azerbaijan Medical University, academician Ahliman Amiraslanov, Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Turkey Faig Bagirov, Azeri MP Ganira Pashayeva, Turkish MP Yusuf Halacoglu spoke of the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan in Khojaly and Karabakh.

Participants watched a documentary on the Khojaly tragedy and viewed an exhibition organized in the Gazi University.
