Azerbaijan, UAE discuss renewable energy cooperation

Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Energy Regulatory Agency (AERA) Samir Akhundov has met with Executive Director of Transmission & Distribution at Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) Omar Abdulla Alhashmi and Network Development and Investments Manager Gabriele Manduzio.
During the meeting, the sides highlighted the importance of close cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE. They also exchanged views on the establishment of mutual relations between AERA and TAQA, the development of the transmission and distribution network in the field of energy in Azerbaijan, as well as the integration of renewable energy sources into the network.
