Azerbaijani Ambassador presents credentials to Costa Rican President

Seymur Fataliyev, newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Costa Rica, presented his credentials to President Laura Fernández of Costa Rica.
During the meeting, the ambassador conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the Costa Rican head of state.
President Laura Fernández asked that her sincere greetings and best wishes be conveyed to President Ilham Aliyev.
During the meeting, Ambassador Seymur Fataliyev briefed President Laura Fernández on Azerbaijan’s growing role amid recent geopolitical developments and emerging new realities in the region, highlighting the country’s economic potential and favorable investment climate. He also briefed her on the important progress made in advancing the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
President Laura Fernández congratulated Azerbaijan on the progress achieved in the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. She expressed her readiness to continue joint efforts during her presidency to further strengthen the friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Costa Rica and Azerbaijan. The Costa Rican President wished the Azerbaijani Ambassador success in his diplomatic activities.
The Ambassador presented President Laura Fernández with the book “Azerbaijan: Inspired by Nature”, published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
