Azerbaijani ambassador presents credentials to President of Timor-Leste

Ramil Rzayev, Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, presented his credentials to the country's President José Ramos-Horta.
During the meeting, Ambassador Ramil Rzayev conveyed the greetings and best wishes of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the President of Timor-Leste.
President José Ramos-Horta also asked the ambassador to extend his sincere greetings and good wishes to the Azerbaijani President.
The President of Timor-Leste fondly recalled his visit to Azerbaijan in March 2023 to participate in the 10th Global Baku Forum, noting that we will attend the 13th Global Baku Forum, which set to take place on March 12-14.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the prospects for enhancing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Timor-Leste in the political, economic and trade, investment, energy, digital development, and humanitarian spheres.
The ambassador provided a detailed overview of the latest developments in the region, as well as the normalization and peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
