Azerbaijan`s PM meets with Secretary-General of Digital Cooperation Organization

Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Deemah AlYahya, Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) on October 6.
The meeting highlighted the importance of Azerbaijan’s membership in the Digital Cooperation Organization for implementing the country’s digital transformation agenda and expanding international cooperation in this field.
Ali Asadov underlined that digital transformation is one of the key priorities of Azerbaijan’s state policy, with consistent and systematic measures being implemented in this area under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
As a practical outcome of this policy, Asadov provided insight into ongoing efforts to develop digital infrastructure, digitalize public services, and strengthen artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the innovation ecosystem.
The meeting also focused on prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Digital Cooperation Organization in areas of mutual interest, underscoring the importance of exchanging experience and implementing joint initiatives across various fields.
