Azerbaijan’s tourism potential promoted in China

The international business tourism exhibition - the China International MICE Exchange (CIMX 2026) has kicked off in Beijing, China.
The Azerbaijan Tourism Board, together with three national tourism companies, and Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) are jointly participating at the exhibition to showcase Azerbaijan’s tourism opportunities, its potential for hosting international events, and prospects for cooperation with the Chinese market.
CIMX 2026 serves as an international platform specialized in the MICE industry, covering business meetings, corporate events, conferences, exhibitions and incentive travel.
The event will bring together tourism authorities, professional buyers, event organizers, tourism companies and representatives of the aviation sector from different countries.
The participation of the Azerbaijani delegation, aims to strengthen the country's recognition as an international MICE destination, establish new partnerships in the Chinese tourism market, and contribute to establishing business ties between the tourism industry representatives of the two countries.
The exhibition showcases Azerbaijan's rich historical and cultural heritage, modern tourism infrastructure, high-class hotels, conference and event venues, as well as extensive opportunities for corporate and incentive travel to international participants.
The Azerbaijan Tourism Board and partner companies are holding meetings with representatives of the Chinese market in a B2B format to discuss the development of new tourism products, attracting corporate groups, organizing international events, and long-term cooperation opportunities.
