Azeri MP gives interview to Turkish media
Baku, February 24 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijani parliamentarian Ganira Pashayeva gave an interview to the well-known Turkish media outlets, Hurriyet newspaper, TRT television channel and Ihlas Haber agency.
She said the Khojaly genocide was committed not only against the people of Azerbaijan but also the whole humanity. She noted that the culprits must be punished and everyone must support Azerbaijan in this tragedy.
Mrs. Pashayeva underlined the conferences to popularize the Khojaly Genocide had been held. She said 20% of Azerbaijani lands had been occupied by Armenia and over 1 million people had become refugees and IDPs. The Azeri MP emphasized that Armenia ignores the resolutions of the international organizations. She stressed the importance of recognition of the Khojaly Genocide by Mexican parliament and the Pakistani Senate. She expressed her hope that number of countries recognizing the Khojaly genocide will increase very soon.
