Baku hosts Azerbaijan-Argentina business forum
Baku, July 3 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan-Argentine business forum organized by Ministry of Economic Development and Azerbaijan`s Export and Investments Promotion Foundation started here.
The event brought together representatives of companies engaged in agriculture, foodstuff, wine-making, agro-chemistry, oil, industry, ICT, construction.
Azerbaijani minister of economic development Shahin Mustafayev told of economic reforms and socio-economic achievements. The Minister stressed the importance of business forum and bilateral meetings of businessmen in widening economic and trade relations between the two countries. He invited the Argentine businessmen to actively participate in projects being implemented in various fields of Azerbaijan`s economy.
Argentine FM Hector Timerman and Secretary of State on domestic trade Guillermo Moreno updated the participants on goal of the country`s trade mission to Azerbaijan. The guests stressed significance of boosting cooperation between the Argentine and Azerbaijani businessmen.
AZPROMO Vice-president Gulshan Rzayeva told of the structure`s activity, favorable business milieu and investment opportunities in the country.
The forum featured Argentina`s presentation.
The bilateral meetings were held within the business forum.
