DOCUMENT SIGNING CEREMONY
President Ilham Aliyev and President Ilsam Karimov signed the “Declaration on strengthening of strategic partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
Then, first deputy prime minister of Azerbaijan Abbas Abbasov and deputy prime minister of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov signed the “Agreement on scientific-technical cooperation between the Government of Azerbaijan Republic and Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan” and other relevant documents.
Foreign minister of Azerbaijan Vilayat Guliyev and foreign minister of Uzbekistan Sadig Safayev signed documents regulating cooperation in the field of consulate.
Also were signed the documents on cooperation between Baku and Tashkent executive power bodies, between the Azerbaijan Hava Yollari (AZAL) concern and Tashkent Aviation Production SC after “Chkalov”.
After the signing ceremony ended, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and president of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov held a news conference, answered questions of the media representatives.
