French President bestows order of Legion of Honor upon Azerbaijan`s First Lady
Baku, October 7 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva has today been awarded the France`s Order of the Legion of Honor in the rank of Officer.
Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Nicholas Sarkozy of France participated in the awarding ceremony.
French President Nicholas Sarkozy addressed the event.
The French leader presented the Order of the Legion of Honor in the rank of Officer to Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva.
Azerbaijan`s First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva thanked French President Nicholas Sarkozy.
Then, they posed for photographs.
